Timeline: 2016 - 2020

The U.S. Navy and Corporate America: the path of my soul by way of it's artistic nder-achievements. Then my daughter goes to college. I have purpose no more. She became my inspiration to hit the books again, make meaning of my gifts. Her essays honorably mentioning me. Showcasing my heroic parental virtues and "unsung"-ness. I was a ministry waiting to exploit The Course (In Miracles). I signed up. Campus life, artiste teachers I am grateful for, hours with pinhole camera and in dark rooms and miles on field trips to galleries and museums. A semester of Saturdays in computer graphics making cool moving pictures and Ken Burns innovation.  Caught in the glance of a Foundations of Art professor who gave me an 'A' for being her most stressed out problem child.  By the second field trip, I was no longer vying with myself to arrive; I had done a little work I was proud of. It made me feel very good.

I managed to meet in traditional (and non traditional) ways other artistic souls. Renowned ones. Is this my real life? I don't really know yet.

Aspiring defined: Directing one's hopes or ambitions toward becoming a specified type of person.

#iAM an artist.
I aspire to my Master's in Digital Cinematography.

This by no means is the equivalent of cinematography, but it was fun and I felt hella vulnerable taking selfies in public in front of curious neighbors. Editing with iMovie then posting publicly on social media was nerve wrecking, to say the least. But it's not special. Oh but it is to my post concussion brain.
